These 60+year-old scrapbooks measure 15x10 and contain 180+ comic strips from Mark Trail and a few from Our New Age. The comics are from the years 1960-1963. Created by Ed Dodd in 1946 and drawn by Jack Elrod since 1978, Mark Trail appears in 175 newspapers, reaching nearly 23 million readers worldwide. The scrapbook covers have some soiling and the inside comic strips are yellowed with light color fading. See photos. Some of the comics have become loose from the binding. The former owners signature is on the first comic of each book. The first book contains approximately 96 comics and the second book contains approximately 90 comics.
