The Seventies saw a rise in professionally produced magazines in support of the growing comic book and comic strip industry. Cartoonews was a magazine published and edited by comic strip legend Jim Ivey, and was a very professional, "inside" publication focusing on the current and past history of newspaper strips, political cartoons, and similar matters. It only lasted a few years, but for fans of the art form, the magszine is a great time capsule of where matters stood in the mid to late Seventies. Back issues remain quite collectible. Here I have issue #3, dated June 1975. It's 48 pages long and features articles about various cartoonist and comics-related matters. It's in very nice shape with no serious flaws (see scans for condition). This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases.
