Vincent van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) was a Dutch painter and draughtsman. Van Gogh's work consists of over 2000 paintings and drawings dating primarily from the 1880s. Van Gogh was influenced by his painter friends, including Anthon van Rappard, Émile Bernard, and Paul Gauguin.
