Acrylic Painting signed by Foster of Milton Caniff’s comic strip header for Terry and the Pirates. 24” wide by 12” tall. Roughly the same aspect ratio of the newspaper printed header for the comic strip. Acrylic over stretched canvas. The canvas and stretcher appear to be from the 60s - 70s just due to the “stock” canvas / stretcher kits that you could buy from an art supply store in that era. It could be newer but I’m just comparing it to other known dated paintings I have come across. It has been displayed in a hallway with no light in my Father’s home since the early 80’s as I recall.
