This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. Wallace Wood was arguably the finest comics artist of the 1950's and 1960's, and was particulary known for drawing stunningly beautiful women. Beginning in the Sixties, he provided soft-core illustrations for a variety of non-mainstream publications, including Playboy. Here I have a copy of The Wallace Wood Treasury, published in 1980 (the final year of Wood's life) by Pure Imagination, which published a series of artist compilations. It's a large, 8 1/2 x 11 magazine running 56 pages, containing many fine examples of Wood's work, inlcuding the classic EC story, "My World.
