Ms. Hasegawa started the strip after WW2 and it quickly became quite popular. The book is written in both English and Japanese which can help support those who are learning Japanese. It inc;uses footnotes to help those not familiar with the Japanese culture. The book is in very good condition. There is some fading on the cover where the yellow strip had been, but otherwise it is in perfect condition.
