This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. Wallace Wood was arguably the finest comics artist of the 1950's and 1960's, and was particulary known for drawing stunningly beautiful women. Beginning in the Sixties, he provided soft-core illustrations for a variety of non-mainstream publications, including Playboy. Toward the end of his life, he offered his fans membership in FOO (Friends of Odkin), which gave them access to his various projects, including "The Wizard King," his sword and sorcery epic that took up much of his final years. Here I have issues 1 through 4 of the Woodwork Gazette, the official newsletter of Woods fan club. They feature artwork, interviews, checklists of Wood's work, and lots of material of miscellaneous interest.
